Hi
My mother died at age 47 with Lupus she had a very stress full life trying to take care of three children from as long as i could remember she use to work very had and long hours at any kind of job she could get. She had a lot of black outs and blood clots in 2004 she got real sick the doctors her in the Caribbean do not have a clue about Lupus so the diagnosed her wrongly and gave her the wrong kind of medications this led to more problems all her organs began to fail by the grace of God she surived this ordeal. She was slways in extreme pain her hair fell out, she lost weight at first then with all the medications she gained a ton back. she had a lot of hope she was a fighter she had a lot of love and life in her despite the excessive pains, the acid reflux, the tiredness and fatigue and all the other ailments that she had. At times she could not even move much less eat a proper meal. Oh how hard it was to see mu mother like this who was once full of life. She had one year of happiness when her first granddaughter was born after that she declined so rapidly, sometimes losing her memory, she could not even remember who we were her children, she called us by different names oh it was hard there were nights that i cried my self to sleep because i could not help her out of the pain. On December 28, 2009 she died at the hospital. The doctors told us that we could have this disease also, it rund in your blood line but she was the only one in the family who had it. Now I am worried that I may have this disease because at times I am so tired in the middle of the day, I urinate alot so i am wokrried not that i might have this disease. I have first hand experience with this disease and watching my mother suffer for so long made it hard for me so i know how al of you feel and waht you are going throught so please stay trong it is hard but try please.
